We may receive contact details, CVs, career history, questionnaire answers, projects, communications and booking information. We use information to respond, prepare for sessions, deliver agreed services, manage the relationship and resolve concerns. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information or confidential employer/client material.

Service and booking information is used where necessary to take steps at your request and perform the agreed contract. We may keep necessary records to meet legal obligations or use proportionate legitimate interests for security and resolving disputes, subject to your rights. Optional advertising uses consent, not a condition of receiving coaching.

Calendly handles bookings under its own notice. Payment, email, video, storage, hosting and AI-assisted processing can involve external providers and international transfers. Retention and portfolio hosting
CVs and project documents are generally retained up to one year after completion, or earlier on request, subject to necessary legal/dispute records. Included portfolio hosting lasts 12 months from publication. Earlier deletion can take it offline. Hosting continuation is separately agreed with no automatic paid renewal. Ask about export before hosting ends.
Advertising and public work
Meta Pixel is blocked until acceptance. After acceptance it may receive device/browser details, page visits and booking-link clicks, not intentionally supplied CV text or questionnaire answers as event parameters. Change the choice in the footer. Public marketing use of client documents requires separate permission. Portfolio names/contact details have been changed; other career facts remain.

Total price
The advertised total is £35 GBP, inclusive of any applicable taxes. Payment is handled through the linked Calendly booking process. Check the amount and scope before confirming. Extra work requires a separate agreement. No automatic paid subscription is created.
Included scope
One CV/background review, one 60-minute strategy session, a career-direction plan, a skill-and-evidence map, one project brief, two reviews on one project, one target-role CV rewrite with one revision, LinkedIn copy for you to upload, one template portfolio with up to two case studies and one revision, one 45-minute interview session, seven days of clarification email after final delivery and 12 months of hosting. Extra projects, custom software, domains, courses and excess reviews require a separate agreement.
Booking and preparation
Choose your meeting time in Calendly. Our team sends a welcome email and questionnaire. Answers are due at least two hours before the meeting. If missing, our team calls to arrange another time for preparation. Email and questionnaire handling are performed by our team, not this static website.
Delivery and practical work
We agree delivery milestones after reviewing the questionnaire and requirements. You complete learning and projects, provide accurate information and explain your own contribution. Simulated work must not be presented as employment or invented commercial results. Late responses and incomplete practical work can affect progress.
Starting during the cancellation period
UK distance-service cancellation rights generally allow 14 days from entering the contract. We must obtain your express request before beginning services within that period. A booking date alone does not replace that request. If you request early performance, proportionate payment for work actually provided may apply on cancellation where the legal requirements are met. Cancellation rights are lost on full performance only where the required request and acknowledgement were obtained.
Materials, hosting and privacy
You retain rights in supplied materials and must have permission to share them. Third-party licences apply. Public marketing use requires separate permission. Hosting ends after the included year unless continuation is separately agreed. Ask about export before then. The privacy notice explains handling and contact options.
No hiring guarantee and statutory rights
We do not guarantee interviews, jobs, salary, promotion, sponsorship or credential recognition. This is not regulated legal, immigration, investment or accounting advice. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights, non-excludable liability or legally required remedies. Your 14-day right
For a covered UK online service contract, you can generally cancel within 14 days after the day the contract is entered into, without giving a reason. Email info@jobschool.io with a clear cancellation statement and booking details. You do not need to use a special form.
Early service requests
We do not treat booking a meeting within 14 days as sufficient consent to start early. We obtain an express request before beginning preparation or delivery. If you cancel after properly requesting early service, a lawful proportionate charge for work actually supplied may apply. We cannot automatically keep the whole fee. Where required information or consent is missing, charges may not be recoverable.
Full performance
You lose the statutory cancellation right on full performance only if you requested early performance and acknowledged beforehand that the right would be lost once the service was fully performed. A first meeting is not automatically full performance of a multi-part package.
After the cancellation period
Outside statutory cancellation rights, we do not offer voluntary change-of-mind refunds. Rights relating to non-delivery, deficient service, misleading information, duplicate charges and other legally protected situations remain intact.
Rescheduling and questionnaire
One free reschedule is offered with at least 24 hours’ notice. Contact us about late changes or missed meetings. A second missed appointment does not include another free reschedule or voluntary refund of that appointment, subject to your legal rights and fairness. It does not automatically forfeit unrelated undelivered items. If questionnaire answers are missing two hours before the meeting, our team calls to arrange a new time.
If we cancel or there is a service problem
We offer a replacement date or appropriate remedy for affected undelivered services. Statutory rights to repeat performance, price reduction or other remedies remain where applicable. Contact info@jobschool.io.
Refund process
Where a statutory cancellation refund is due, we reimburse within the applicable 14-day deadline and generally by the original payment method unless otherwise agreed, with no refund fee. Any lawful proportionate deduction is explained.
Optional cancellation notice
You can send: “I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service], booked on [date]. Name: [name]. Contact/address: [details]. Date: [date].” No reason is required for a statutory cancellation.
Your choice
Advertising tracking is optional. Accept and Reject are both available. No Meta Pixel loads until you accept. Your preference is stored under jobschool-uk-advertising-choice to remember the choice; this storage supports the preference you requested.
Meta Pixel
Pixel ID 2217671639159383 records PageView and BookingLinkClick after consent. A link click is not a purchase or confirmed booking. Meta may set _fbp/_fbc cookies and use other identifiers. No automatic advanced matching is configured. We do not intentionally send CV text, questionnaire answers or personal contact details in event parameters.
Withdrawal
Use Advertising preferences in the footer. Rejection keeps optional tracking off. Withdrawal revokes the consent signal, attempts to remove first-party Meta cookies and reloads to stop further loading. It does not delete data Meta already received.
Other websites
Calendly, payment providers and Forbes links have their own privacy practices. This choice does not control independent websites. Hosting/security logs may apply. Contact info@jobschool.io for questions.
